The Replication Market

Legal & Disclosures

Last updated September 2026

This page explains, in plain language, how The Replication Market holds and moves your money, and the risks involved. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

How your account is created

When you sign up, we automatically generate a dedicated Polygon wallet and a real Polymarket trading account just for you - not a shared or pooled account. That account's private key is encrypted at rest on our servers and is only ever used to sign your own trades and withdrawals - it is never shared with or accessible to other users.

Custody - what this means in practice

Unlike a fully self-custodied wallet (e.g. your own MetaMask), we hold the key that controls your trading account so we can execute copy trades automatically on your behalf, without asking you to approve every single order. This is what makes fast, automated copy trading possible. It also means you're trusting our systems and security practices with control of those funds while they sit in your account - the same trust model as any custodial exchange or broker. We are not a bank: funds held in your account are not covered by deposit insurance (e.g. FDIC/SIPC) of any kind.

Deposits and withdrawals

Your account only accepts USDC.e on the Polygon network. Sending any other asset, or the right asset on the wrong network, results in permanent loss of funds that we cannot reverse. Withdrawals move your funds on-chain, directly from your account to any address you specify, and typically confirm within a couple of minutes. You can withdraw whenever you want - there is no lock-up period.

Trading risk

Nothing here is investment advice. Prediction markets can go to zero. Past performance of any trader we surface is not indicative of future results, and we do not guarantee returns of any kind. Copy trading can result in the loss of some or all allocated capital, including losses caused by execution delay and price movement between a source trader's trade and your own copy of it.

Fees

We charge a subscription fee for access to the product (see Pricing). We do not currently charge any additional commission on your trades, deposits, or withdrawals.

Early-stage product

The Replication Market is under active development and is not yet operated through a formally registered company. We'll update this page as that changes. Software, including the systems that hold and move your funds, can contain bugs - we take reasonable care to test and secure them, but we cannot guarantee they are error-free.
